  Greetings everyone.

 Well last month you had the chance to throw water around. This month you can throw your weight around!! THE PUB will be hosting the Northern Thailand Arm Wrestling Championships on Friday the 10th from 7pm.

If you would like to have a go it is free to enter. Us more sensible ones will be just watching. We will have a live band on afterwards at around 10pm.  

Sports fans,plenty for you this month including the Kentucky Derby on the 4th,the French Open on the 21st,the F.A.Cup on the 11th and the 1st Test against the New Zealanders starting on the 16th.

Wednesday the 1st is the final draw for the Lucky Draw tickets you are now holding. There is over 8,000 in the pot,  ;)  Don't be late!!.

I understand there are a few gentlemen in town at the moment so I expect the Gentlemens Club lunch will go ahead on the 6th.

Some very good quizzes last month. Well done everyone. I start the ball rolling this month but I will need a new scorer as Stewart and Murray are off to David's birthday party.

As I am sure most of you will know,the 24th is the anniversary of the publication of Mary had a Little Lamb and of course Wednesday the 8th is No Socks Day.
